How to install ?

Before you begin:

Keep a backup of your important data, as that process may lead to data loss.

Here is the guide on installing the firmware: Download Firmware: Download the appropriate firmware file for your OnePlus device from a reputable website. Make sure it corresponds to your device’s model number.

Second, ensure the charging of your device is enough to maintain constant power when flashing. (at least 50%).

Flashing Firmware:

Extract Firmware Package:

Unpack the firmware package to a directory in your computer.

Boot OnePlus 5 into EDL Mode:

Power off your OnePlus 5.

Plug your device into the computer with a USB cable.

Press and hold Volume Up and Volume Down at once, and then press Power. Continue pressing all three buttons until the device goes into Emergency Download (EDL) mode.

Open MsmDownloadTool:

On your PC, execute the MsmDownloadTool EXE.

Load Firmware:

On the MsmDownloadTool interface, click on the “Target” and select the firmware file or directory that contains the extracted firmware.

Connect Device:

Make sure that your OnePlus 5 still has its EDL mode active and is connected to the computer.

Start Flashing:

Press Start from MsmDownloadTool to start flashing. The firmware will start installing on your OnePlus 5 using the tool

Wait For The Process To Finish:

It can take a while to flash. Do NOT power off your device during this process.

Complete Setup:

After the flashing is done, your device might reboot automatically. If not, you can do a manual reboot on your OnePlus 5.
