How to install ?

PREREQUISITES:

Download Necessary Files:

Download correct firmware files for OnePlus 6. The MsmDownloadTool must be included in these files.

Decide your Windows PC and set up the OnePlus USB drivers.

Enable USB Debugging:

Now on your OnePlus 6, navigate to Settings > About phone > tap “Build number” seven times to enable Developer Options.

Step 1: Enable USB debugging from Developer Options

Steps:

Extract Firmware Package:

Also have the firmware packet extracted to your PC

Boot OnePlus 6 into EDL Mode:

Power off your OnePlus 6.

If you already know that, connect your device to the computer via USB.

Simultaneously press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, followed by, the Power button. Continue holding all three buttons until the device boots into Emergency Download (EDL) mode.

Open MsmDownloadTool:

MsmDownloadTool-PNGWhen downloading the MsmDownloadTool, run the executable on your PC.

Load Firmware:

Hit the “Target” in MsmDownloadTool interface and navigate to locate firmware file or folder that you extracted firmware on it.

Connect Device:

Keep your OnePlus 6 in EDL mode and connected to the computer.

Start Flashing:

Press Start and flash the MsmDownloadTool The firmware will begin to install on your OnePlus 6 through the tool.

Let the Process Work:

Flashing might take a while to complete. If are part of this process do not disconnect your device

Complete Setup:

After the flashing is done, your device should reboot automatically. Otherwise you have to reboot OnePlus 6 manually.

We recommend you keep a backup of any important data on your device, since flashing the firmware may erase some or all of it.
