PREREQUISITES:
Download Necessary Files:
- Download Your Files and Tools to Flash Your Firmware on Your OnePlus 6 (The right firmware package for the OnePlus 6).
- Another thing you would need MsmDownloadTool (comes with the firmware files usually). It is an important tool used for flashing the firmware on your device.
- On your Windows PC, ensure that you have the OnePlus USB drivers installed so that the flashing process goes smoothly. These few drivers will aid in creating a reliable connection between your computer and the OnePlus 6 for flashing purposes.
Enable USB Debugging:
Once that is done you would need to enable USB Debugging on your OnePlus 6 for it to get connected to your computer. Follow these steps:
Select Settings >> About phone from the settings on your OnePlus 6.
Find the Build number and tap it seven times to enable Developer Options.
Return to Settings and tap on Developer Options.
Scroll down and click USB Debugging to enable it.

Completely turn off your OnePlus 6.
Now connect your OnePlus 6 to your PC via USB Data cable.
While holding down the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.
