How to install ?

Warning: Fix firmware flashing can be dangerous and may result in data loss or bricking of your device if done improperly. Follow the steps carefully as necessary and back up important data before advancing.

Prerequisites:

Steps to install Xiaomi USB drivers on your computer

Get the right firmware for your Xiaomi Redmi 9T; ensure that you download from a trusted source.

Install SP Flash Tool on your PC.

There should be enough battery on your device to avoid the flashing process interruption. (at least 50%).

Steps:

Install SP Flash Tool:

Download and Install SP Flash Tool on your PC.

Extract Firmware:

Extract the firmware files that you downloaded previously.

Open SP Flash Tool:

Start SP Flash Tool on the computer.

Load Scatter File:

Click on the Scatter-loading button in SP Flash Tool.

Open the extracted firmware folder, select the scatter file (it should have the name “MT6xxx_Android_scatter. txt”). It shows us the file that lists all partition on the device.

Choose Flashing Options:

After loading with the scatter file, you will see certain partitions to be flashed. Select all things as default

Connect Your Device:

First, switch off your Xiaomi Redmi 9T.

You then connect the device to your PC via USB whilst pressing a certain button combination (most commonly Volume Up or Volume Down). This will start the flashing procedure.

Start Flashing:

Once the device connects, tap the “Download” key in Valid Flash Tool.

The firmware will be flashed to your device by the tool. You will see a progress bar as it processes.

Completion:

When the flashing process is finished, you will see a message that Download OK OK.

You can now take your device off the USB and boot it. The first boot may take slightly longer than normal.
